Privacy

Last updated November 5, 2026.

You can browse LastMinuteCLT without giving us anything. We only get personal details when you fill in a form, and we use them for the thing you asked for. We don't sell them, rent them or share them with advertisers, and the site has no ad trackers.

What we collect

  • The daily email. Your email address, and when you signed up and confirmed. Nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email.
  • Requests for a pro. The service, when you need it, your area, your first name, your mobile number or email, and any details you add. We pass these to local businesses we've approved for that work in your area so they can reply with a quote.
  • Alerts on your phone or computer. If you turn on alerts, we store the address your browser gives us for sending notifications, plus the interests and areas you pick. No name or email. Turning alerts off deletes all of it.
  • Business lead alerts. Your business name, phone, email, website, services and areas, and the notification address for your device. We check these before sending you any customer requests.
  • Event submissions. The event details you enter, the organizer name, an optional image, and your name, email, phone and website. Approved events are published with the organizer name as the host. Your name, email and phone stay private and are only used to contact you about the listing.
  • Business profile claims. Your name, role, email, phone and how you'd like to be verified. These stay private. Once we verify a claim, the profile shows that the business manages it.
  • Business sign-ups. Your business name, your name, work email, neighborhood, what you're interested in, and any message. We use these to set up your account and reply to you.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, where visitors came from, rough location by country, browser and device type, and how fast pages load. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint your device, and doesn't follow you to other sites. We only see totals, not individual visitors.

Posters and stickers that businesses print from our marketing studio have QR codes. When one is scanned, we add one to a daily count for that business and the kind of material it was on, such as a poster or a table tent. We don't record anything about the person who scanned it.

Affiliate links

Some links to tickets, tours and places to stay are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we list or how we rank it.

To track this, public pages load impact.com's tracking tag, and we use partner programs such as Stay22. When you click a partner link, these services set their own cookies and record the click and any resulting purchase so the commission can be credited. They don't receive your name, email or the details of any form you send us. You can block these cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same without them.

Cookies and storage on your device

Apart from the affiliate partners above, the site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser, and none are sent to us:

  • The events and places you save with the heart icon.
  • A list of the events and claims you've submitted from that browser, so you can see them in the business portal.
  • Your alert picks, so the alerts page remembers them.

The site also installs a small background script (a service worker) so it can work as an app, show a page when you're offline, and show notifications if you turn them on. It keeps a copy of images and site files on your device so pages load faster.

Clearing your browser's site data removes both. Two cookies are only for business users: verified businesses get one that opens their marketing studio when they use the private link we email them, and our own staff get a sign-in cookie when they log in to review submissions.

Who handles your information

The site runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and stores the form data, uploaded images and analytics, and sends our emails. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser details when you load a page, and uses them to deliver and protect the site. Our server logs keep technical details about requests and errors for a short time so we can fix problems.

Beyond Cloudflare and the pros who receive your service request, we only share personal information if the law requires it, or to stop fraud or abuse of the site.

Emails from us

We email you to confirm a sign-up, to say we received something you sent, and to tell you whether it was approved. The daily email goes only to confirmed subscribers, and every one has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.

How long we keep it

We keep submissions and requests for as long as we need them to run the listing or answer you, then delete them. If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so you don't get the daily email again; ask us and we'll remove it completely.

Your choices

Email hello@lastminuteclt.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll reply within 30 days. You can stop the daily email at any time with the link at the bottom of it, or by replying to any email from us.

Other sites

Listings link to business websites, ticket sellers, Google Maps and Google Calendar. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what you do there isn't covered by this one.

Children

LastMinuteCLT isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. Questions go to hello@lastminuteclt.com, or by post to LastMinuteCLT, 3020i Prosperity Church Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269.
